Around 150 nationalities live together in our commune, which generates a great diversity of cultures and languages, with the richness, but also the difficulties that it implies. With Etterbeek, nine other European cities (including Vejle, Strasbourg and Vlora), facing the same challenge of social diversity, wish to share their experiences. In order to foster exchanges within this network, the municipality of Etterbeek is currently setting up a local group composed of representatives of the administration and civil society, including citizens, who will propose reflections and actions to promoting social mixing, inclusive, participatory and intercultural.
